ECONOMYNEXT – State-run SriLankan Airlines says a negative Covid-19 test is mandatory for all departing passengers from October 2020.

Notice to all SriLankan Airlines passengers travelling out of Colombo.

October 17th, 2020, Colombo: As per the directive issued by the Director General Civil Aviation of Sri Lanka(DGCA) today, SriLankan Airlines wishes to inform our valued customers that all passengers departing Colombo Bandaranaike International Airportneed to be in possession of a negative COVID-19 PCR test report taken 72 hours prior to the expected date of travel.

This mandatory requirement will come into effect from 1800 hours on 18thOctober 2020.

Passengers are kindly advised to contact their travel agent or contact SriLankan Airlines’ global call centre on +94117771979‬ or visit SriLankan Airlines website for further details.
